Q: Activation Lock

Hi,

I refurbish iPads in my spare time and have 2 that are stuck on the activation lock screen.  They were bought of eBay and i have no way of contacting the original owner.  I am aware of the fact that I can't bypass the activation lock.  I am trying to get in touch with apple to suggest that as the iPads are tied to an account would it be possible, as an update to the iOS, to include the option of sending an email/message from the activation lock screen to the owner, using the apple id, to let them know I have the iPad and would like to return it to them?

I've looked at the apple website and can't find a way to contact apple directly to suggest this.  Could anyone point me in the right direction?

thanks in advance

Richard

The contact us link in the lower right has all the available contact information. BTW, in the USA at least, privacy laws would not allow Apple to implement any such feature on the devices they sell. Apple has no legal right nor authority to make anyone's email or any contact information that they hold in confidence for their customers known to someone without that client's knowledge and consent.  Nor can they just connect people, or allow people to contact owners anonymously without the device owner's permission and consent to do so.

And find my iphone lost mode already allows the device owner to send a screen message with contact information for their lost device, if they choose to do so.
