Bluetooth Connection Issues ios 10

I've installed IOS 5.2 beta 3 and can pick-up inbound calls again. AppleSupport should be more aware what development is fixing

iOS 10.2 beta 2 worked much better than beta 1. I only had one time I had to reconnect to my car since its release. So far today beta 3 hasn't disconnected from my 2012 Elantra at all.

Where did you find 10.2 beta 2? My iPhone says it's up to date with 10.1.1, I just checked through iTunes.

I'm part of the public beta. You can sign up for free. Be aware, it's beta software and may be buggy. Google it, and follow the apple links.

This is taking a long time, my experience with Apple, things have been fixed in a short time, unlike the previous phones I've had, HTC once had this happen, and I called, and they knew about the issue, but told me they had issued the last update for that phone, that's when I got my first iPhone, 4s.

Brand new 301$ Audi sq5 is doing it as was the car it replaced. As well as cheap pair of Bluetooth headphones I'd used for some time

Clearly not just us. Mine is a Verizon iPhone 6s it's extremely annoying. Ive rebooted phone etc

I feel your pain.

I drive a 2015, BMW 328 xDrive wagon. While running iOS 9 on my iPhone 6s plus, I experienced intermittent problems with the Bluetooth connection including the following:

• Dropping the bluetooth connection while on a call after a few minutes (have to manually try to reconnect via the BMW console)
• Intermittent connection with streaming media from my phone (e.g. Podcasts, spotify, iTunes, etc) via bluetooth. If I took a call while playing media, I lost the bluetooth media connection when I ended the call. Only way to fix it was to stop the engine and restart the car!

BMW dealership & service department told me that Apple is aware of the problem and that fix was included in iOS 10. After patiently waiting 10 months and updating to iOS 10 (now running iOS 10.1.1), I'm finding the same problems and now have these:

BMW iDrive now hangs/freezes when trying to place or end calls. You're held hostage while iDrive is trying to process what's happened even though the iPhone has ended the call or is trying to make the call! When iDrive is hung, you can't toggle to anything else, including Maps, other media, etc.

The irony? My bluetooth connections work marvelously on my 2016 Subaru Impreza and my 2014 Volt.

Apple and BMW -- please consider offering free Apple CarPlay upgrades so we can have an improved experience. This is not safer driving!

I have E 91 with BMW professional radio.. Ios 10 update makes big issues for Bluetooth.

My phone is working fine but unable to play music.

Also if i use Whatup call its crap for hearing to other people. i need to switch on phone speaker. Some time radio does not recognized call is finished.

I have the same issue. I use and aftermarket receiver ( pioneer mvh-x370bt )and before the update i used to hear my phone calls through the whole sound system via Bluetooth. Now i can hear it only on my car tweeters. Resetting the phone, the unit...no luck...and it is annoying to use a aux cable for phone conversations.

I have the same issue. My 6s with IOS 10.1 lost the ability to use the speaker during phone calls (either in or out) in my 2009 Honda accord. Worked flawlessly prior to IOS 10. Blue tooth connects but speaker will not engage.

I have tried all the resets and possible fixes to no avail.

This is my first apple phone, not really putting confidence in their product updates. why should you update if it breaks what was working?

Now I risk a ticket in a no hands phone state .... Apple should fix this quickly or they may be party to lawsuits since they broke a system that was working in IOS 9. That would be an interesting situation.

Since I updated to the latest build of ios10 (10.1.1) there hasn't been any problems at all with my Bluetooth connectivity. I am driving a hyundai i20 and before the update the Bluetooth was repeatedly failing to connect. Pleasing.

Well, as I've said, the only problem with my iOS 10.1.1, is the caller can't hear me when I answer using the phone button on my steering wheel, if I first answer the phone itself then push the phone button it works! Thats a bit of a distraction I don't need. Outgoing calls work fine!

I updated to 10.1.1.

music worked on a two hour drive, but the first phone call broke it. Just dropped mid conversation. First time it reconnected. The second it wouldn't reconnect until I forced it from the car

Having issues with ios10 in my 2015 Mercedes.

Text messages no longer showing in the Command system.

Bluetooth notifications is on.
