Sep 24, 2016 11:16 AM in response to kargnasby Vexx90,If everybody will call and create a ticket maybe this issues will be resolved. I called yesterday and they had no idea of the Bluetooth connectivity issues with BMW's. Only Nissan's per their comments.
So go ahead peeps. Call! That's the only way.

Sep 24, 2016 12:37 PM in response to dobieguyby jsbenner,I have the same issue with my 6S connecting to my 2015 BMW 328xi via Bluetooth. Never was a problem with iOS 9. I updated to iOS 10.02 and the issues persists. Sometimes I can play music but not access phone numbers if I do get a connection. Toggling Bluetooth off and on sometimes helps get a connection. Very frustrating that issues like this persist after many rounds of betas.

Sep 24, 2016 1:51 PM in response to MoHawk26by danieloun,Same bluetooth issues over here, updated to 10.0.2 today, same issue didn't resolve. Apple, if you are planning to sell your airpods, don't **** up other blue-tooth connections. Before iOS 10, my bluetooth earphone easily connects and music goes straight to the connected earphone, common sense. Now, even if the phone says connected, the music comes out from the speaker of the phone. Then I have to spend another 10 min fiddling with the bluetooth on and off and reconnect to make the earphone work fine again. Multiple times I end up listening to songs thinking that my bluetooth earphone is connected. Then boom, speakers and music for all strangers around me. Get your stuff tgt apple and fix your bluetooth issues. If the same thing happens with beats headphones, you really have a serious bluetooth issue to fix.

Sep 25, 2016 10:02 AM in response to MoHawk26by Young Stingy,Bluetooth is complete garbage now. Everytime my phone pairs with devices, the audio plays through the phone. The trick I found to make it work is leave the bluetooth device on, turn off bluetooth on the phone, and then back on. Then immediately tap the device i want to pair with and then it plays audio through the device.
Major pain in the *** but it works until apple fixes this issue. Also problem has been persistent on IOS 10, 10.0.1, 10.0.2.
Tried resetting network settings, no luck, all that did was remove all my saved wifi hotspots, and since they're synced with iCloud, you better god **** believe that all my MacBooks, iPads and Macs had removed their saved wifi connections as well. So what a delight it was to re-add all those connections.

Sep 25, 2016 2:05 PM in response to MoHawk26by Scott Lind,I have the same problem. 2015 Mercedes and iOS 10. The car shows the message "connecting bluetooth audio" but it never connects. I've waited over 15 min many times. Tried resetting network connection, deleting phone and reauthorizing from the car, upgraded to 10.0.2 and still the same issue. Bluetooth works fine for phone calls, but not for music or podcasts.

Sep 25, 2016 10:49 PM in response to MoHawk26by shanel-Oz,I have an iPhone 6S+ connected to a Volkswagen Scirocco R. My Bluetooth since 10.x has been OK for music/podcast playback sound-wise, but drops out as you've mentioned - really annoying.
My main problem is when making calls it is distorted and garbled, and is completely unusable (I have to switch to speakerphone). This never happened in iOS 9.x
Thanks,
Shane.

Sep 26, 2016 10:35 AM in response to MoHawk26by iPhoneMacella,Iphone 7, iOS 10.0.2, BMW X3 2015
Pairs, then plays half a song before crashing the bluetooth music app on the car system (can't navigate the albums, song no longer plays). Phone calls seems to work ok via bluetooth (at least incoming, when not crashed by the music problem). Worked fine with iOS 9 and the iPhone 6.
Gave it a quick try with my power beats 2 headphones and it seems ok. Perhaps something to do with the bluetooth functionality and navigating from the car system, or perhaps some issue with power saving.... or just buggy code!

Sep 26, 2016 12:52 PM in response to MoHawk26by womo,I just went through the entire process of starting a ticket with Apple. I would encourage people to do this even if it takes some time out of your day. I have gone through all resets and even restored to new phone setting to try to get this to work. Still not working.
It just didn't happen with older ios versions so I am more inclined to believe that it is an issue within the iOS. More they know, more they will be pushed to find the solution and do another update. So let them know.

Sep 26, 2016 1:08 PM in response to MoHawk26by PAG_V,Same issues with 2010 Infiniti FX35 and iPhone 6s. Unable to answer calls (goes straight to handset) and outgoing call audio is garbled.

Sep 26, 2016 5:07 PM in response to MoHawk26by nodrums,You are lucky. None of the 3 Iphones (Iphone SE , Plus, 6)in our household would pair with the bluetooth in our 2013 BMW.
Prior to IOS 10, 10.1, and 10.2, would pair easily and stay connected.
After a Apple chat session and two separate phone calls, Apple blames it in on BMW for not updating to IOS 10.
I now consider this a safety issue and so should everyone else. Having the phone available instantaneously through the steering wheel controls during an emergency situation is invaluable.
Shame on Apple
