Q: Unable to update

Hi,

I'm unable to update any of my devices to the latest version of iOS or OS X. After speaking with a number of Apple representatives, I've concluded that it might be an error with my network connection. However, what I don't quite understand is how -- I'm able to stream tv and music, for example, without a hitch, but I can't download and install the latest update. how can this be? do you think it could a faulty network connection?

thank you,

Nora

Try restarting/resetting your router. Do you have access to another network you can test on?

I think you need to tell us how you attempt to 'update' your OS X.  From what version to what version.

And how you attempt to 'update' your iOS devices.  What device (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch and its generation), as well as from what version to what version.

There are several methods, and knowing what you tried will help in understanding the problem.
