I downloaded iOS 10 yesterday for my iPad Air 2. When I went to read a book in Overdrive Media the print was so small it was almost impossible to read. I think it's in Overdrive Media problem because I wasn't able to increase the size of the fonts in the app. Anybody else having this problem or anybody know a solution Short of waiting for the app to be updated? I could not increase the font size in settings. It did not affect the font size in Overdrive Media.
I Don't have an active book in there to try, but maybe settings, general, accessibility and zoom? See if it'll make the text larger for you?
Unfortunately it may be a case of waiting for a fix.
Hi. Same problem in AltaMail. Looks like we need updated apps.
My wife is the big user of OverDrive, but she had the same problem with our iPad Air 2. However, we are able to change the font size when using OverDrive in the browser. I presume this requires an internet connection at all times? Restoring from a backup created before the iOS 10 upgrade may also work??
I aslo started to use the browser. Just annoying that Overdrive has not upgraded their software to deal its IOS 10.
They just did. An update came out this evening, so check for updates. And it says it fixes the font size issue
I did the update but it did not help. Type still tiny and not adjustable.
Works for me. Open the book up so that you see the text tap tap on the text and at the bottom there should come up bar that allows you to change the color of the screen as well as font size. Then tap on the two A's in the middle of the screen and you should be able to increase the font by tapping on the larger of the two A's. Hope this helps.
That's the way that I used to be able to adjust the font size but it no longer works after the Apple update. I updated the OverDrive app and it made no difference. If I click on the Aa the big A does nothing to the font size. I have two iPads that were updated and neither one works now.
IF you have no books saved in the Overdrive app I would delete the app and reinstall it. The version of the app is 3.5.7, 22.7 MB, Sept 16, 2016.
If you have books in overdrive I would go back into the library app and read them using your browser and then you can delete the OverDrive app and reinstall it.

I tried deleting app and getting the new update. Now when I try to enlarge font the app shuts down!

Yes, I did. No good. As before, the chapter title enlarges, but the body of the type stays very small.
Sorry didn't work. I am out of ideas maybe somebody else in the discussion can be of help.
