I use Logic Pro X for work 8-12 hours per day. I've had the program lock up on me 5 or 6 times a day. Sometimes more. I'm not doing anything in particular when it happens. I just get the spinning ball and have to force quit. I'm looking to suggestions or to see if this is happening with anyone else.

If you don't get a response on here, best ask at the Mac store, they will have the answer immediately, you have the latest OS, which runs flawlessly with Logic so I have been told.
This should not happen with a modern iMac like yours. I have been hearing stories like this a lot recently. El Capitan 10.11.6 has been out a while now and there should be no issues with it.
Did you recently upgrade to El Capitan 10.11.6? has this only started happening recently?
Hi I also am having this problem and its getting worse and worse it crushes if i copy and paste from track to another track or cut with the scissors to split a midi clip. IS there a special update or special setting that i can change or update to , please paste link .Many thanks

Having the same issue here. I'm glad there is auto-save. But still, I's annoying. Mine starts acting up when I use the Right click. I'm gonna change my touch pad and see if that's the problem....
