i updated my iphone to IOS 10 yesterday, i don't have any problem for now. but i wanna make a pptp connection in VPN option, does not exist pptp option.
I hope this option be resolved in next update.

The PPTP protocol has been depreciated because of it's insecure nature. Please read below link for more information.

I setup a L2TP VPN connection, and configured it on my iPhone - it worked just fine, but when I use my phone as a hot spot, I can connect to the VPN server, but I cannot access network resources. I know the network rules on my firewall work fine because I tested the L2TP protocol over my home Wifi and it works.
I opened a question about this, hope someone has seen this issue & can assist. If you need step to setup L2TP just shout, I will post them.
