Sep 14, 2016 8:22 AM in response to Nestofcby Skydiver119,You're right, it's gone. I usually use my mini in the landscape orientation (wider than it is tall) so always have a message list on the left so I've never cared about the arrows.
On the iPod and presumably phone there is still left and right arrows to browse through mails. -
Sep 14, 2016 12:27 PM in response to Nestofcby ridgelift,Is there no way to bring the previous/next arrows back? I generally read emails on the iPad in portrait mode, and now an extra tap and visual scan is required to navigate to the next or previous email. How is this an improvement?

You can leave Apple feedback and let them know how you feel. They won't respond but you can at least have your opinion registered

Oct 2, 2016 5:46 PM in response to Skydiver119by Pat Schaefer,This is from the special iPad documentation for iOS 10.
So they did exist recently
at least when they grabbed the shot for documentation.
I continue to hope it is a screwup not a feature.
