Problem with my iPhone 6S screen

Hi,

I'm having some trouble with my iPhone 6S that I bought 7 months ago.

The problem is that if I touch the screen too hard (especially the top of the screen), then the screen will stop working. Everything I can see on the screen works like it normally does, but I just cannot use the touch screen anymore.

So the only solution when this happens it to lock/unlock my phone using the power button, then it works normally. Sometimes I don't even have to press hard on the screen, I could for example just play a game like slither.io with normal touches, and the screen just randomly stops responding. Sometimes I just have to press a little harder than usual for the screen to react, but then if I press too hard, it would stop working again of course.

Have someone experienced this before? Will a change of the screen solve my problem? I just want to be sure before I pay for it 🙂 I updated to iOS 10 and it didn't fix anything, but yeah, I guess it's a hardware issue?
