Problems with "Parked Car" Feature (iOS 10 Maps)

Same problem here, works then don't work. Restore the phone, don't work, restore it again then work, after 2 days then stop working again, restore the phone don't work, then do the restor it work again, work for another 2 days then stop again. What a pos.

Do you restore settings or all? Which model? 5s?

I restore from iTune. All setting, try set up as new, try restore from back up you name it. It's just junk. iPhone 7 plus unlock version.

looks to me Apple is having another Bluetooth issue just like the one when iPhone 6 first came out. I remember when the 6 came out they had a huge issue with bluetooth not connecting to the car or other devices. They finally fix the problem after 3-4 month.

Couple of things... have a IP7+ and I never get the lock/home screen notification when I park and shut off the BT connection. Also when I click the search field in Maps I have to click the Transportation icon to see the Parked screen. Running 10.2 here.

I do not believe this feature is supported on the 5S.

Hi, if you have done all those steps, chances are your car is linked anyway, but just does not show up. I found that i lost my connection as well when i upgraded.

However, in Apple maps, your car does not show up. Most likely your home address shows up. Just click the little x to get rid of it and where the search bar is, just scroll up to see the location of your car.

IT works on my wife's phone iP 7+ but not all the time. It does not work at home, but when we are away, it does. We look on the notifications screen's destination. We added destinations to the notification screen. You have to turn the frequent locations and the other settings above. I dont want all those things on my iP 6, it kills my battery life. I got it to work a couple of times but like i said, I turned off frequent locations, etc. I usually don't experiment with it away from home, so I didn't know it does not work at my house. I check couple a days ago, it showed nothing, but it worked today on the iP 7+ when we were out.

Only the iPhone 6 (with iOS 10) or up has that feature.

And, I think, the Bluetooth device must be "MYCAR". I'm not sure but my tests indicated that!!!!

Because my iPhone and my car radio (uConnect) were paired.

And how it knows if is a car and not a Bluetooth speaker that you have in your room? It can (and should) be paired too.

"My Car" is going to be whatever your car manufacturers Bluetooth profile says it is.
