How to force iBooks to sync between devices?

Hi There,

I'm signed into iTunes on both my iPad and Computer but non-purchased content (like PDFs) NEVER sync. I've also tried syncing the device using iTunes but still no joy.

How do I get this working? Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers

Epub and PDF files DO sync between iBooks+iTunes, iTunes+iOS, and iBooks+iCloud Drive. I find the latter option most convenient for my own purposes.

However, problems arising with the whole iBooks/iTunes/iCloud family on Macs most often occur after system updates and upgrades. I have found on several occasions that performing a safe boot of my Mac (hold down the shift key on restart), then going to System Prefs/iCloud and signing in again, and doing the same with iBooks and iTunes, solves whatever problem I'm experiencing.

Yeah! This worked for me too after upgrading to OS X 10.11.6 and iOS 10.0.2- nice fix, but far out!!

Had to do OS X safemode, delete all manually added iBooks PDF's and ePubs first, sign out of iCloud on all devices, do wifi-off on Mac and flightmode on the iPad - THEN start over with logins, including waiting for all my iCloud stored PDF's, ebooks and ePubs to download to my MacBook.

Lastly on the Mac, i could drag my two new ePub's into a new collection in iBooks and watch them upload and sync to my iPad.

Thanks :-)
