Deleting music off one device and keeping on another

trying to work out how to delete music off my iPhone but keep it on my iPad, and computer? I have no memory left on my phone but plenty on my other devices.

its annoying because when I try delete it on my phone it says "This album will also be deleted from all your devices. You can restore purchases in iTunes by going to your account information page." so when I just do that and try to redownload it on my iPad it again goes back on my phone.

Music is unchecked from my Storage & iCloud Usage.

iCloud Music Library is also unchecked from my music settings on both devices.

plsssss help.

Reset your devices. Without iCloud Music Library and /or iTunes Match services, you should be able to choose which music you want on any given device via syncing in a ITunes on your computer.

----

- Reset: hold down the Home and Power buttons until you see the Apple logo (10-15 seconds).

- Restore your iDevice: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204184

If your backup is to iTunes, make sure it's encrypted.
