Q: Missing Music in Playlists After iCloud Issue Yesterday
Hi -
Yesterday, there was an issue with iCloud in which connections with Apple Music were interrupted. After the issue was apparently fixed, I now have double playlists and all of the tracks in the playlists are not there, just some, in some cases only 1. This is the same experience on my macbook, iMac, and iPhone. I have signed out and back in, synced my iCloud library, toggled on and off the Apple Music option. I have tried these things on all 3 devices and and still not seeing the tracks. All of my songs are in my library and all of my playlists are there...its just all of the tracks aren't in the playlists and it is adding double playlists (and even those are not consistent between the two.
I replaced my iTunes Library itl file with the file from yesterday morning and when i restart iTunes, i can see the tracks that should be in the playlists, but they are grayed out and when the iCloud library begins to update, all the tracks again disappear and the double playlists come back.
Called Apple support and talk to an advisor and sr advisor and they could not help. If anyone has any ideas, i would be very appreciative.
MacBook Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11.6)
