Bluetooth headphone connection

The new update of iTunes has a icon at the top that says " Choose which speakers to use". However it does not allow you to change from the default which is the computer speakers. This means it is not possible to listen to cordless headphones through the bluetooth connection.

Any suggestions or is this a bug apple needs to sort.
