Q: Why is El Capitan 10.11.6 asking me to accept incoming network connections from iTunes12.5.1?

EVERYTIME I startup iTunes12.5.1, I am asked by El Capitan "Do you want the application "iTunes.app" to accept incoming network connections?

I "Allowed" this the first time, why is it reoccurring?

This is not a Little Snitch issue as I have deleted all LS rules for iTunes. Start up iTunes and get two permission windows. The smaller window reoccurs everytime I restart iTunes.

I have reinstalled OS X 10.11.6, and downloaded iTunes from the iTunes site and reinstalled. I still get the "accept" menu every time I start up iTunes.

An Apple Senior specialist solved this issue. The solution was to use Terminal to remove iTunes, not just move to trash, then download and reinstall iTunes from the iTunes web site.

The issue was that my firewall did not recognize the iTunes app as "signed software". I had to use terminal to remove the app completely, then reinstall.

CAUTION/Use carefully/The terminal command is:  sudo rm -rf (drag iTunes app into window)(space)(password)
