    No help there!

Even searched the web and found there are other having this problem. Here are solutions listed but non work.

    1. Restart Siri on iPhone: Settings > General > Tap on Siri > Toggle it to off and turn on it again.

    2. Reset Network Settings: Go to Settings app > General > Tap on Reset > Tap on Reset Network Settings > Enter your Passcode > Tap on Reset Network Settings to Confirm.

    3. Switch On/Off Dictation: Settings > General > Scroll down to keyboards > Toggle Enable Dictation to Off and Turn it on.

    4. Enable Hey Siri: Make sure that Hey Siri option is enabled: Settings > General > Siri > Tap on Allow Hey Siri.

    5. Clean your iPhone/iPad Microphone and make sure it is unobstructed and not damaged.

    6. Update your iOS to latest version if available: check software updates to see if Apple releases a small update like iOS 10.x.

After updating to iOS 10 on my iPhone 6 Plus, Siri is having big problems. She will correctly respond to 'what time is it?' or 'what is the weather like,' but fails completely with messaging commands such as 'send a text message to my wife or 'send a text message.' I even disabled Siri, re-enabled then went through Setup. Still doesn't work correctly with any command having to do with SMS or iMessages.

No, it's not a question of being enabled. After the iOS 10 update, Siri is seriously broken. She no longer recognizes the same commands I used prior to the update.

I'm using Siri on iOS 10 on a 6S, and tested before responding here, and it is working just fine. I sent a text, and also did a search on the web. You will need to troubleshoot your individual device.

Google Siri not working after iOS 10 update. Glad yours is working. No joy for many of us.

I don't need to Google Siri not working, thank you though. I'm a user here, just like you are. You are not addressing Apple. If you are not satisfied with what you find here, then you can always use the Contact Us link at the bottom of the page for help from Apple, or you can make an appointment at the Genius Bar of the nearest Apple Store.

Chris, don't need your condescending troll attitude. It's not helpful to anyone here. I'm gone. Discussion ended.

Just as an update, I found out today that Siri works fine when I'm out and away from my Airport WiFi. Testing it by going back out and trying Siri....she works. Came back home and she's having major problems again when connected to the airport WiFi.

    Airport Firmware is at 7.7.7

I think it may have something to do in the WiFi area. If you can, go outside the range of your Home-base WiFi and see if Siri fires up for you!

There was nothing condescending about my attitude. If you cannot get it to work and you have tried the Apple troubleshooting steps, Use Siri on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support then you can follow through with Apple. Nothing condescending about that. Everything that I provided you was meant to be helpful. Anyone else would have provided you with the same information. I let you know that mine worked to show it was not an iOS issue.

I Also have issues with Siri on iPhone 6 after update. i had to reboot my phone to get her to wrk again.   I asked the other day when watching a movie, "how old is Kevin Costner" siri said I don't have that name in your contacts. It took 3 tries before she came though. Used google search and came up straight away.

when I ask for directions she gets it wrong all the time now too And I use this all the time.

    This worked for me:

       1. Turn Siri off

       2. Reboot your phone (hold down power and home buttons until the Apple logo flashes and your device turns off, then hold down the power button and turn it back on)

       3. Turn Siri back on

She should be working fine after that.

Google "alien abductions" - because Google returns something it doesn't mean that it has any significance.

With over a billion iPhones in use, no matter what problem you have it is a certainty that someone else has it. That doesn't help in the slightest if fixing your individual problem.

You need to troubleshoot on your own. Start with a reboot.
