What happened to making genius playlists in music app in iOS 10

I too wanted to know this question, I wanted to make a genius playlist from my own library of songs and the option is not available.

It seems like apple removed 'genius' so that they can make you use apple music by creating a 'station'. You may be still able to use the genius function on iTunes. I want to leave their ecosystem because of stuff like this, they are constantly removing features to steer you toward their subscription services. But this really *****. I used genius a lot.
