iPhone 6 updated to iOS 10 and lost 2GB storage space

Hi,

Just updated to iOS 10 on my iPhone 6 via iTunes. Had 2.19GB free space before the update but when it had finished only had 44MB free space. After giving it some time and deleting some photos (200MB) and some apps (150MB) it now has 1.4GB available. So I still have 800MB more used space than before iOS 10. Other people are reporting more free space. Anyone else had the above issue or know a fix?
