Oct 6, 2016 10:36 AM in response to phearemeby Mgon49,This is completely not useful, as we used to be able to click on the menu option next to the song and LOVE it or "add to next" or "add to playlist." I used this feature when I'd listen to Apple playlists and like songs, but I do not want to mess with my phone while driving. Once I got home later that night I could always go back, and add it to my library or playlists. Losing this feature is AWFUL. The "message" app shortcut has no functionality to let you do anything but view what the sings recently played were. You can't long press it and save it or LOVE it.
Boo, Apple. Big BOO. And you still need to add where the playlists are smart (like Spotify) and they ask if you want to add a duplicate song. There is no way on Apple Music to go find duplicates in your library or playlists. So sad.

Oct 6, 2016 12:47 PM in response to Mgon49by garymilne,I can't get in to loving this update yet. The functionality has been stripped out of it. The text size is too big.
Does anyone find the queued songs just stop playing at the end of a track for no apparent T reason?
This missing feature and the downright buggy nature of it is just **** poor by Apples standards.

Oct 6, 2016 2:10 PM in response to bajancanuckby bajancanuck,I just canceled my Apple Music sub and will be going back to Spotify for the time being until Apple figures this out. Sooooo many issues with the new Apple Music. I don't know why they took away all the stuff that was working and replaced them with crap.

Oct 7, 2016 12:22 PM in response to Mgon49by pheare,I agree, it is not a great solution, but at least it is some way to see what songs you've previously played.
I have no idea for sure, but I suspect the reality is: the Apple Music revamp had a hard deadline of the ios10 release date and not all the functionality could be included to make that release date.
I'm sure it will all be coming in later releases. It ***** for now, no doubt, but it is what it is.

Oct 7, 2016 12:25 PM in response to garymilneby pheare,While it seems that way, I suspect it is not so much a case of stuff being stripped out as it is there was not time to add all the previous functionality into what is essentially a brand new app. I could be completely wrong here, I wouldn't be surprised at all if this was the case.
I agree some to the text does seem a little large. I was very put off by it initially, doesn't bother me much anymore. I have noticed that from time to time the playlist will just stop playing at the end of a song. Has probably happened to me 2 or 3 times.

Oct 7, 2016 1:16 PM in response to bajancanuckby ziptone,Stop removing functionality!
I believe the correct term is "history" in "up next" on iOS 10.0.2 "music".
The new queuing list seems more stable, the old one would crash sometimes.
Have you noticed the star ratings have been removed?
