Q: I shattered my screen and now can not swipe to open it.  I have an alarm that won't stop going off.  I also want to sync to my phone before I take it in to buy a new one.  Is there a way to sync and look at my schedule for the next few days?

I shattered my screen and now can not swipe to open it.  I have an alarm that won't stop going off. I can let the battery die I know but really want to be able to access it and look at what texts I have received today. I think my ICloud might be turned off. I also want to sync to my phone before I take it in to buy a new one.  Is there a way to sync and look at my schedule for the next few days?

Without entering your passcode, this is not possible, unless your schedule is on iCloud. If it is, log into iCloud.com to check your calender.

    Good luck.

You did not provide any information about the iPhone, such as model or iOS version.

If you have an iPhone that's compatible with Siri, you can ask Siri what's on your schedule, and to turn off the alarm. To create a backup, connect to iTunes or wait for it to back up to iCloud. If you have never connected with iTunes before and have a passcode on your phone, and have never configured iCloud, then you will not be able to back up. If you do have iCloud, then a backup should take place when your phone is charging, locked, and connected to Wi-Fi.

    I have an IPhone 5C or S.

I do have ICloud but I turned it off because ICloud was full and I didn't want to have to buy more space.  Is there a way to turn it on so that I can sync now and then buy my new phone tomorrow?

If you cannot get into the phone, then you will not be able to activate iCloud, as it cannot be done remotely. If you cannot back up to iTunes, either, then it's too late to back up.

You can still check your calendar and turn off the alarm using Siri.
