Q: iPhone Update 10.0.1

Unbelievable how Apple can just take over you device with a single update.  Anyone know what happened to Safari?  What am I missing. Unable to find Safari on my 6+ not able to access the internet even from an email link.  Even tried my junk file to see if I could access one of the annoying fishing scams that Apple will not block.  So frustrated again.  Anyone else missing basic features with the new update?

You can try to check out your Cellular settings and make sure that they are ON. Tap on Settings - Cellular Data - ON

Then check to see that you don’t have any carrier updates pending on your iPhone. Sometimes pending carrier Settings update can cause this issue.

Try to take out the SIM card and then reinserting it back after 10 seconds or so can help solve this problem

If nothing helps you can reset your Network settings on your iPhone and then give it a try. Tap on Settings - General - Reset Network Settings. Once the device is reset, check and see if your iPhone cellular service is back on

Are you saying that Safari is not installed on your phone?  Did you search for it or ask Siri to open safari?

Somehow I touched the parental controls when I was trying to shut off all the new Apple spyware installed in the last update. Found my mistake and corrected the problem.  Panic button off!
