Q: 1st gen Ipod Touch will not reset or turn on
My iPod touch just decided to quit working. I had been trying to connect it to a Bose Mini via Bluetooth and had done so before. Seems my ladys iPod touch 5th gen was connected so when I tried to shut hers off , mine just went blank. Was not able to boot it. Discovered the reset, power button/home button combo and it tried to boot up but got to the Apple screen and just froze. After repeated attempts it decided it did not want to play anymore.
After getting it to finally get to the boot screen, attempted to do another reset and this time it would display the Apple logo for about 15 seconds then shut off and then come back on to the Apple screen. Let it "rest" for about an hour, got it home and hooked up to my PC, even uploaded latest iTunes software, I was able to follow instructions for getting the iPod to request a restore and did so . The program loaded and I was following directions when it suddenly crashed, lost connection and received an Error 9 message. I have not been able to boot the unit up since no matter what I try to do. Can you help me?
