New iTunes Keeps Cutting Out

Installed the latest iTunes 12.5.1.21.


I have an iPad and a iPhone and a mac.


When I use iTunes to play music on my mac it cuts out every few minutes with a message about playing music on other devices and if I want to continue playing on this device press play. This happens when no music is playing on any other device too.


Sure this is supposed to be a nice integration feature but is the most annoying thin in the world. The only way I have found to stop it is to close iTunes on the other devices.


Please fix this.
