Activate iPhone 7 Upgrade program
Can I set up a new iPhone 7 (ATT version) by swapping sim or do I have to leave new sim in phone and use it?
iPhone 6s, iOS 10, iMAc iPad etc
Yes you can you use your own ATT or T Mobile SIM as long as it is a NANO SIM card. The ATT and T Mobile phones are GSM so as long as your carrier is GSM - that will work.
BTW: That's what I am doing tomorrow at the Apple store as I reserved on the iPhone upgrade program an ATT carrier phone.
But I have a T Mobile SIM which I am replacing it with.
