Cloud icon on photos

Hi,

Why are there suddenly cloud icons on my photo gallery? By the way, iCloud is turned-off. Device is an iPad Air 2.

Hey pat_chua_see,
Looking at the screenshot you included, I can see why you would be questioning this.
I would double check your iCloud settings because generally those icons only show on pictures when they are being downloaded from the iCloud Photo Library.
You can also check on iCloud.com to see if the photos are there.

It does show it as off, it is very odd that it is showing the cloud icon on the pictures.
Did you recently restore the device from a backup or do you share pictures with someone with photo stream?
What I would do next is check on http://icloud.com and see if any photos show on the website.
