Buy iPhone in Switzerland

Hello,

I live in France and I was told Iphones are less expensive in Switzerland so I thought of buying the iPhone 7 over there because (of course) I don't live far away from Geneva. Will my iPhone work properly with French operators even when purchased in Switzerland? Are there any legal matters I should take into account?
