Q: My screen off when I open an app

This problem began when I update iOS 10.

When I open an app the screen off but it is not locked, because later it on again.

does anyone know what happen?

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. It seems like you have an iPad and the screen is black sometimes and works other times. I would recommend you read this article, it has several steps you can follow that may be able to help troubleshoot the issue.
