Tiny font using mail in iOS 10
After updating to iOS10, the font in the body of emails is really small, too small to read. I have to zoom in, but then I have to scroll left and right to read each line. Anyone else have this problem?

Because not everyone reads all the posts in these discussions, another reminder regarding my post from yesterday...
To finally enjoy larger text you must satisfy these two things:
1. Running iOS 10.2
2. Have Dynamic Type turned on and set to two notches past the mid-point.
I have provided directions and a screen shot in yesterday's post to fulfill step 2 for those who are new to iOS.
Last, Dynamic Type is still not functioning properly. It doesn't do jack with Mail if you set the slider to the left of two notches past the mid-point. Unfortunately, some may find the text size TOO LARGE! I have submitted a feedback report about this and would encourage others to do the same. This problem with Dynamic Type is not confined to just mail. Some apps that support Dynamic Type also balk if you go to the left of the "two notches" setting.
It works for me as well. A few thoughts for Apple...
Shame on you! How could you possibly release IOS 10 without QAing that a native and significant piece of functionality actually worked properly. We are not talking about some obscure feature here. We are talking about email. A basic function. It is nuts that you allowed this to happen. Then to make matters worse, you release an update and in the update you clearly spell out that the "Tiny Font" issue has been resolved with the new release. Well, it wasn't. This is even worse than the first release where someone didn't do their job. In the new release you point out that the bug was fixed and it wasn't. Wow! And now, we have 10.2 and finally those of us with eyes older than 40 can actually read our emails once again. I'd say thanks except as the prior posts have pointed out, dynamic text still doesn't work properly. So now I have to go from too small to too big. Before I couldn't read emails at all. Now I have to sit and listen to my kids make fun of me because of a font size Stevie Wonder could read. It is awesome that the new 10.2 release includes all sorts of features that will do something with my TV but for God's sake someone do your job and get this right once and for all. My family and I have spent thousands of dollars supporting Apple and Apple products. This has really given you a big black eye. You used to do better. Get back to that.
I am having the same problem, my font is tiny. I do not see how this operating system could be ADA compliant. Those of us with vision issues need the larger font, and now it is even smaller than what used to be standard. Very disappointed in Apple right now.
Totally agree!!
I'm afraid to say I completely concur with matthewfromrobbinsville.
Very eloquent sir!. You are absolutely right. This solution is either too big font or too small!. Emails from my bank, PayPal and Amazon are horrible now. I dread to get one of those emails just because of the problem to adjust the display to read them. I feel like I am using an old android phone!!!!
Hey Folks, Don't forget to submit a feedback report to Apple about the continuing problem with dynamic type and the mail app. There is not an option to choose the native mail app in the feedback site. I would guess the best place to choose is the iPhone category.
Thought some of you would like to know that Apple has just released a new support app for iOS. It's another option for directly engaging Apple about problems like the one with its email app and dynamic type.
Apple Support by Apple
Has anyone found a real solution to this (without the 'dynamic' nonsense of course)? Or is Apple actually doing anything about this?
Try the following:
Settings / General / Accessibility / Larger text set it to your size choice.
Hope it solves the issue.
Thanks Mr Luigi - have you heard back?
I'm really amazed how little coverage this issue has in various tech magazines and blogs - does it mean this is not an issue for many anymore?
I have just reported a new bug on the bug report website under the ref: 31797055
I someone which to report it as well.
Thanks
Thank you so much! I will try your suggestions and may also move to the Outlook app. I'll let you know how it works.
