Q: Reminders no longer sticking to lock screen in iOS 10

I have a daily reminder set to remind me to do something at the same time every day. In iOS 9, the reminder would stick to the lock screen until I marked it complete. This was good, because it made sure I got it done, even if it was a number of hours later. Now that I have upgraded to iOS 10, I've noticed that the reminder is dropping from the lock screen as soon as I unlock and it doesn't come back. Is there a setting I can change to make this change back to the old way?

iPhone 6, iOS 10

This does not answer the question / resolve the issue.

Apparently, it solved it for the original poster as they are the ones who would have had to have marked it solved.

I have the same problem with one notable difference...the Reminders on my locked screen only show the word "Reminder" rather than the actual title of the Reminder. It was working correctly for several days  after I installed IOS 10.2 and didn't stop until I had to restart my phone for an unrelated reason.

I tried all of the suggestions, but so far nothing has worked to correct it.  And since I use these Reminders to manage medication, having them work correctly is very important to me.

I just started a new discussion about this because this one obviously won't get any more attention since it's marked as "solved" even though it's not. To keep posting about this to raise your concerns, please start using that discussion:

Reminders Don't Show or Stick to Lock Screen in iOS10

Are you just trolling?  Did you notice that the Answer has no actual content, or that chris_g1 refers to Reminders notification settings that don't exist?  (I.e., there are no settings to control whether or for how long an uncompleted reminder sticks to the lock screen in the new iOS.)  If you are personally able to identify the "solution" in anything that chris_g1 wrote or linked to, could you please say what it is?  Also, did you notice the many other posters here who are saying that no solution has been offered to the problem and that it must have been marked as solved in error?

No, I was explaining why the answer was marked as solved. Only the original poster can do that.

We are having the same problem too. It was nice that the reminders and your appointments would be on the lock screen and appear when you turned your phone on. They no longer show up unless you swipe to the right. This is crazy that you have to take the extra step just to verify your own appointments and daily schedule. Does anyone have any answers? Or does this need to be fixed with an update.

Like HippoCool said, to keep posting about this to raise your concerns, we need to stop posting here and start using this discussion (that hasn't been marked as "solved")

This seems to be an issue with the iOS, hopefully it gets fixed soon. In the meantime, try turning your phone off and back on. Once your phone is back on, it takes ~30 seconds for the reminders to come back, but once you see them appear at the top of the home screen, they should come back to the lock screen. At least for a little while...
