I cannot re-download some songs from iTunes

When I look at my Store - Purchased music it is empty. So I cannot download that music to my new iPhone.

Using iTunes on my Windows laptop, ditto. Purchased music shows empty,

When I then click on a song or album I have purchased it says "Purchased" so it knows I have purchased those but I still cannot find a way to re-download any of my purchased songs. And those songs are not in my library either.

We are talkign of very recent purchases.

Any ideas how this can be resolved? Cheers Conrad
