After upgrading my ipad mini2 to ios10, it got bricked. When I connected it to itunes, it showed me that my ipad went into recovery mode and it prompted me for update and restore which I accepted but alas!!! it had thrown error code and restoration failed. I tried to restore ios 9.3.5 and ios10 both, for ios10 it is giving error code 40 and for ios 9.3.5 it is giving error code 4005. I tried almost all the steps available in apple community but all went in vain. I put ipad in charge for 1hr, hold sleep and home button simultaneously for 5 mins, but nothing happens. So today I approached to apple authorized service center here, by intial inspection they told me that the issue could be related to hardware and they also told that there is no guarantee that the issue would be fixed. They rather suggested to buy a new ipad. I did some research and found that number of people are affected like me and also don't find any suitable solution. I simply failed to understand how come a hardware issue appeared after iOS10 update? Is it a bug of iOS10 that cost my ipad life?Moreover I had chosen to upgrade my ipad after 9hrs from when it started rolling out in my region. I am looking for a solution to fix the issue. I want to see my ipad wakeup again. Please help me out....
