How do I remove contact photos from Messages?

I cannot find an option to remove contact photos from the Messages app for my daughter's iPhone 5S since upgrading to iOS 10. The option is there in Settings for my iPhone 6 but not for 5S. Why would iPhone 5S be different?

I understand now that removing the contact Photos is only on the list.
