custom lyrics does not show in my iPhone

Hi There,

I am running iOS 10 in my iPhone 6 plus and I noticed that custom lyrics does not show in my iPhone, even though I have them in My iTunes library. I am signed with the same Apple ID across all devices. For very few of them I can access the lyrics in my phone, but not all of them (as it used to be in iOS 9)

any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Ahmed

Ahmed,

As anorakman mentioned, if you use Get Lyrical, it will add custom lyrics to your iTunes music. Provided your music is synched to your iPhone, you should be able to view the lyrics by playing the song and then tapping on the ... menu at the bottom. There should be a Lyrics option in the pop-up menu. Once you tap on that, a lyrics view will pop up. The biggest problem with that is that you can't control music at this point - you have to dismiss the view to go back to the previous music view.

Hope that helps!

Alright

So i read other posts and was facing similar problem. In my case NONE of my songs displayed or recognized that i had manually entered lyrics

what somehow works is this:

Some of them fix just by opening the info area and checking the lyrics part. Literally opening and pressing '>' so that itunes can recognize that as a 'change' (however little).

Some other of my songs just **** up. menaing the lyrics display "as
this
and
its
anoyying"

Looking on how to fix this.... is anyone has any other fix please Speak UP!!! i have hundreds of songs (in several languages) and cant see my lyrics!

Hope this helps!

You are not alone. I have spent years adding lyrics to my music and until the introduction of iOS10, i had no problem with those lyrics showing up on my iphone/iPad. I read the other notes; this is not something that can be solved with Get Lyrical or other apps. I use Get Lyrical as well and it does indeed add the lyrics to my desk top iTunes, but when transferring to the iPhone or iPad they are not there.

What worked for me is this ...

On the computer (iTunes) I selected the songs that I had already input the lyrics for then right-clicked on the selection(s) and picked "Add to Device." After that, I Synced the phone and the lyrics were now being displayed.

It also worked for me to delete the song from the device (iTunes on the phone) and then Sync but doing the above was easier.
