iPhone upgrade program

I have an iPhone 6s on the upgrade program with AT&T as my carrier. I was able to get an appointment tomorrow for a Sprint 7+ .... Since the upgrade program allows you to switch carriers, will I be able to just switch out the Sprint sim card with my current AT&T sim card and have the iPhone work?

I had the same experience. No go for the upgrade. (After waiting 2 hours in line beyond my reservation time). However I was not 100% sure that I would love the 7+ since I currently have the 6s...so we decided that if I purchased the 7+ in full I would be able to "try it out" for 14 days and then either return it and continue with my 6s or return it and get the 7+ on the upgrade...knowing that due to short supply I might have to go back to the 6s until the 7+ is available. Seemed like the best of both worlds...seeing if the 7+ is what I want, and having the ability to go back to the 6s without having to start a new contract (and when the next new model comes out next Sept. I will be able to keep the 6s and sell it instead off losing the investment already made when upgrading after one year).

Based on the experience of this year and the perceived penalty of not being able to order online (just having to wait daily to see what phones might appear to make a reservation to upgrade) pretty sure I will not continue with the Apple upgrade program in the future...but then Apple has us "locked in" and probably cares more about selling to a new customer then doing "right" by us.
