How can I see my favourite contacts by Alias?

HI, I've given every one of my favourite contacts an Alias, because I find their full name pretty boring... But I don't find the way to list them that way... they only apear with their boring full name... Is there a way to change that? Or maybe that can be added to a newupdate...? It should not be a big thing to do... Thanks!
