Force Touch completely gone after Watch OS 3

Ever since installing Watch OS 3 force touch stopped working.

For example when trying to compose a new message I press firmly on the screen and nothing happens.

The same is true for any app that still requires force touch.

Am I missing something - maybe some new setting?

Force touch worked fine before Watch OS 3.

Any ideas?

Hi,

Restart your Apple Watch then try again.

Press and hold the side button until you see the Power Off slider.
Drag the slider to turn off your device.
After your watch turns off, press and hold the side button again until you see the Apple logo.
