Q: Need desperate help with an overheated iPhone 6s
I did the iOS 10 update on my iPhone 6s this morning. All was ok, different emojis, more 3D touch, great, no one cares. Later on in the day however it became very hot and humid, which was fine (at the time), i opened up the app store to just browse, finally got bored and went on Facebook to talk. Out of nowhere i just get booted off the app and 40 apps just start to update (yes I had that many updates to do), I just let it do its thing. However my problem came when I was sitting at a computer and my phone (which was extremely hot to the touch) just didn't turn back on. After some research i found a reset trick, which said to 'hold the home button and the power button simultaneously for around 10 seconds to start a reset', well i did this, and the usual apple logo with the black background appeared, feeling hopeful i waited around 10 minutes for this screen to pass... And nothing. Great. So i wait, it cooled down, I try this trick again, and the same thing. I hold those buttons to turn the reset off as it was taking ages, and it stops. I try plugging it into a computer and it says to access this device i have to unlock my iPhone on the lock screen. Which I can't access. I've charged it to add batter (which was at 63% before it stopped working), and tried several times the trick I explained. but nothing. What can i do?
