How do I restore the system to yesterday @ 7:00

I tried to send an email and it didn't go but the email just keep flashing on and off so that I can do nothing. Is there a way using AirPort Time Capsule to restore to a tine just before the flashing started?

iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.3), Just have a system back up in case

Yes, it is possible to restore to sometime Yesterday.. I cannot give you a specific time because TM does not work to store every version of every file .. but I would not recommend it until you find out what has gone wrong.

Have you forced the mail program to quit.. then reboot the computer?

Open mail program again.. is it still stuck and flashing?

Restoring mail program is not so simple. And it will depend on version of OS your mac is running.

El Capo is known problematic.
