I have iMac with OS X Yosemite. I can see my iPad (iPad Air2) and my iPhone (iPhone 5) in Air Drop on the iMac and can xfer photos to those devices from the iMac easily with Air Drop. But I have never been able to see the iMac from either my iPhone or iPad in Air Drop. Even with the iMac set to be discovered by "everyone" I still cannot see it on iPhone or iPad so can't xfer photos TO the iMac from those devices in Air Drop. Any suggestions?
Thanks for the link to that info. Unfortunately I tried everything suggested there and still cannot see the iMac in Air Drop on either my iPhone 5S or iPad Air. Tried setting each device to "discovered by everyone", made sure each device was signed in to iCloud, made sure Personal Hotspot was turned off on each device. Still CAN see the iPhone and iPad in Air Drop on the iMac but no luck seeing the iMac from the mobile devices. Weird science.......
