Q: Smart Playlist Ignoring Start/Stop Times

For several of my songs, I set options in iTunes to start at a certain time (eg, begin a movie's deleted song after the composers finish introducing it), and/or stop at a certain time (eg, end "A Day in the Life" before the Inner Groove goes off).  However, when I listen to them on my iPhone, via the list of every song I said I love, they start at the beginning, and play all the way to the end.  Only when I listen to the song in a different playlist, or ask Siri to shuffle this one for me, do these options work as they should.  Does anyone else have this problem?  My solution wouldn't work during times when I want to pick the first song myself.

iPhone 6, iOS 10, null

I have this problem too and it's really annoying! I'm on an iPhone 7 running iOS 10.

It occurs in every playlist I have regardless of if it was a smart playlist or normal playlist that I made.

One other thing my phone has been doing is when the playlist is rolling some songs will start from about halfway through the song. I'm not sure if that's because it plays from the point at which I skipped the song the day before. I've manually checked every single song in my iTunes library to make sure the box saying "remember playback position" is unchecked (took me a good while). Every box is unchecked! Ugh. I'm hoping it's a small bug iPhone will fix asap.

Yes I have the same problem. On Itunes everything is fine but when I listen the songs in the Iphone on IOS 10, when I pick them from the smart list recently added, the start / end time I've set doesn't work. However if I only browse by artist or by songs (so not a list), the start or end time I've manually set for some song does work OK. Only on the lists on iphone (not itunes) there's  a problem. Please if there is a solution let us know!

Having the same issue here. Started after the latest itunes came out and with ios 10. They must have changed something. Super annoying, hope it's fixed soon.
