Q: iTunes restore help!!
I recently purchased the iPhone 6s Plus. I gave my husband my iPhone 6s. Before switching phones, I performed a back up of both of our phones in iTunes. We switched sim cards and restored his phone with no problem. When I attempted to restore my information onto my new 6s plus, the back up asked for a password. I have never set a password or set it to encrypt any information. I've searched many forums and found out how to see a list of all of my previous back ups, this one is the ONLY one that has a lock symbol...nothing before or after this back up is locked. Just to try to troubleshoot my own problem, I performed other back ups and set an encryption password on those. I am able to access those just fine. The one that I really need does not accept the encryption password that I set when I was trouble shooting. I've tried generic passwords, 0000/00000/1234/123456/password/admin....nothing. I've even contacted my job's IT department, hoping that maybe they have some override or password because I had my work email on my phone...nothing...
ANY help and/or suggestions are GREATLY appreciated!
