Synced Google calendar duplicating events

I have a Google Apps for Work account, through which I have my personal work calendar, and a few employee calendars that have been shared with me. We also have a group calendar for the whole company, and for some reason, when people invite my to a new event using my work email address, those invites get duplicated and added as a new invite that needs a reply for the group company calendar as well.


Google support helped me narrow the issue down to something that's happening when I open Calendar app on my computer, and a CalDAV event that's basically telling my personal work email to also invite the group calendar. Super annoying because then I have to manage 2 responses, items show up where they shouldn't AND those who invite me to things end up getting a accept or decline response 2x from me ...


Can't figure out what to change to stop this from happening.

MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012), OS X El Capitan (10.11.6)
