safari plug-in failure

I play games on Facebook and yesterday received message stating "Plug-in Failure". I followed the directions to make sure that all the appropriate boxes were checked in the Safari Preferences and they were. I made sure Adobe Flash was updated with the latest version and it is. Using Safari it continues to give the same message.


Safari Version: 9.1.3

iMac OS X El Capitan Version: 10.11.6


I used another browser today, Chrome, and had no problems. Is there anyone here have any idea on what I can do to remedy this issue?

iPhone 4S, Windows 7

I really want to thank sberman for their assistance. I think I have solved the problem. Since everything was updated and the issue remained, I uninstalled the Adobe Flash and reinstalled it. So far so good. Keeping my fingers crossed though lol. Thanks again sberman for taking the time to send me the link.
