iOS 10 - No longer showing Suggested Apps on Lock Screen?

go to setting-general-spotlight search and turn on siri suggestion.

I have the same issue. Running iOS 10, on 6S.

Ive tried toggling the siri suggestions on/off, restarting etc.

Same issue iphone 6s.

Ahave it enabled. And I've tried toggling everything off, restarting, and toggling back on. To no avail.

Gentlemen, I think it's time to consider that this feature no longer exists.

I don't have it on my phone either.

Furthermore, I googled "iOS 10 lockscreen" and I found ZERO pictures/screenshots showing any app icon in the bottom left corner of the screen.

For those of you, for whom it's a big deal I suggest you contact Apple Support (https://getsupport.apple.com/) and confirm it.

If the lockscreen app suggestions is in fact missing from iOS 10, you can suggest Apple bringing it back (http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html)

There's also a twitter account @AppleSupport but I find their responses less accurate and not always correct.

Myself I always use the chat option on the mentioned website and never have had any complaints about it.

I was wrong. Today the lock screen app suggestions magically reappeared on my phone.

So you guys should contact apple support to solve this problem.

I too have been missing this. I even talked with a Senior Apple Technical Support person a few weeks back to discuss this though they never fully gave me a confirmation that it was taken away. Their final recommendation was to completely restore your phone/iPad as new and then start from scratch.

As an update, mine too finally started magically working. I hadn't had the siri app suggestions widget on in the widget screen but turned it on. After I did that they started to show up again whenever I would plug in my headphones (podcast app pops up), bluetooth in the car, etc. So it sounds like iOS 10 either re-learns all of your usage data and then starts using it.

As suggested, you need to turn on Siri App suggestions under Settings -> General -> Spotlight Search. But you must *also* have Siri App Suggestions installed as a widget (on the screen you get to by swiping left-to-right from either the lock screen or the first Home screen).

So I tried all possible troubleshooting:

Toggling pretty much everything on/off

Resetting settings etc.

Eventually I took the plunge and did a fresh restore and now the Siri app suggestions are working again.

So it seems this might be the only way...

I have 2 iPhone 6 Plus' side by side. Both running 10.2.1. One still work normally when I put the headphone jack in suggesting the music app, the other doesn't. It's some sort of bug.
