Apps Ghost downloaded on iPad 3?

Two weeks ago, 11 apps I had in the cloud, downloaded (by themselves) back onto my iPad.

All of them were on version 1.1, even though they all are around a year old and far past version 1.1.

I proceeded to delete them all again and restart my iPad and it hasn't happen since. My IPad is not jail broken.

I am wondering what would cause this, ie. malware or a glitch in the system?

(iPad 3rd Gen. running 9.3.5)
