Q: iPad shows in iTunes but not Windows 7 Computer menu

I see that your iPad is recognized by iTunes, but not by the Windows 7 system. I have three support articles that are relevant to your issue. The first is more relevant to the iPad not being recognized by iTunes, but has some information for the Windows OS also. The other two relate more directly to Windows not recognizing the iPad.
If iTunes doesn‘t recognize your iPhone, iPad, or iPod
Resolve issues between iTunes and third-party security software
Remove and reinstall iTunes and related software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8

Sep 17, 2016 7:28 AMby darkflux88,Thanks for your reply Sterling. I just went through all the steps on all 3 links you've provided (even the ones I tried before), and I'm still having no luck. The iPod still shows in iTunes, but not on the computer where I can get to the pictures.
I have another computer with the old version of iTunes on it, and it isn't showing up there either (it used to at some point). I updated it to the latest iTunes (following the guide at the 3rd link), and it didn't change anything.
Not sure what changed, or if the device could just be faulty in some way, but then why would it show up in iTunes if that were the case? Any more ideas/stuff to try?
