Photos for Mac
Q: Photos slideshow
I made a slideshow in Photos for Mac and it works beautifully, until I mirror my computer to my TV. Now it won't scale the photos down and I don't know how to fix it. Unplugged the computer from the TV and it works fine again.

This workaround might do the trick for you:
1 - export the slideshow as a Quicktime movie file at the appropriate size for the TV.
2 - play it with Quicktime Player full screen while mirroring to the TV.
You can also try the older Quicktime Player, QuickTime Player 7 for Mac OS X v10.6.3 or later, which might scale better than the player that comes with Yosemite.
