Q: My phone was working 15 minutes ago and was on the charger. It wont turn on and the home button is hot. Nothing else is hot except that and I also restarted it and still nothing.

    Hi Tiara12, 


    From your post I understand that you are having some issues with your iPhone 6s unable to be turned on and also the Home button is hot while it was being charged. I use my iPhone daily and depend on it turning on and running smoothly. I will be happy to provide some information with this.

    Some information about the iPhone becoming warm while charging can be found in this article: Keeping iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch within acceptable operating temperatures, specifically this: 

     

    When using the device or charging the battery, it is normal for it to get warm. The exterior of the device functions as a cooling surface that transfers heat from inside the device to the cooler air outside.
