From your post I understand that you are having some issues with your iPhone 6s unable to be turned on and also the Home button is hot while it was being charged. I use my iPhone daily and depend on it turning on and running smoothly. I will be happy to provide some information with this.

When using the device or charging the battery, it is normal for it to get warm. The exterior of the device functions as a cooling surface that transfers heat from inside the device to the cooler air outside.
