I'm having problems trying to use the

IM Tony, I have an iPhone 6S Plus and since the update I've been trying to use the animated messages but seems that theres also problem with the force touch. The arrow does not let the other icons appear.

iPhone 6s Plus, iOS 10

Hi Indestruct1,

I understand that you are having some issues being able to use the new screen effects and bubble effects within the Messages app. I updated to iOS 10 as well and I love the new effects. I will be happy to go over some information for you.

Use message effects with iMessage on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch, this article states that

You need iMessage to send message effects. If you aren't sure whether you're using iMessage or SMS/MMS texts, learn the difference. If you can't send or receive bubble effects, make sure you don't have Reduce Motion turned on.

The same thing applies if you can't send or receive screen effects, check to make sure Reduce Motion is off.
