I'm updating apps after upgrading to ios10, almost every time I update an app I get asked to log into another itunes account which isn't mine. It's asking to log into my partners account which has nothing to do with my phone, only similarity is that i've backed up on the same computer.
All accounts on the phone are setup as my own.
Haven't see anyone else having this issue or are there others?

But why use that apple ID to sign in with and not mine? This seems to be a fault with itunes/app store and not the end user.
As of now it seems to be sorted but just signing out of icloud, removing all data and logging back in. Which in itself is a silly process.

Are you in a family sharing account?
Check to make sure under Settings>iTunes&App Stores that your Apple ID at the top is yours.
Those applications have the other Apple ID stored inside them, and either need to be updated from it or deleted and redownloaded.
